Welcome to CELEBRACION 2025! It is my great pleasure, as Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Dance, to send you a personal message to acknowledge this amazing event.
It’s the 40th anniversary of excellence in dance training at the Claravall School, which follows the rigour and joy of the RAD curriculum. As an eager participant in dance myself, from my childhood to today as a Silver Swan, I know first-hand the physical and mental health benefits of dance, as well as its place in bringing people and communities together. Through dance, we develop self-expression, confidence, teamwork and make friends for life. Dance is the very expression of our humanity.
This year’s programme looks incredible. I only wish I could be there with you to enjoy it! I shall be with you in spirit, if not in person though. Congratulations to all of you taking part. You are set to have a fabulous and inspiring experience, learning and creating together.
